The Tourism Authority of Thailand has launched a new project to allow Chinese tourists to vote for their favourite destinations in the Land of Smiles.

TAT Deputy Governor Juthaporn Rerngronasa on Tuesday officially opened the “The Best of Thailand Awards Voted By Chinese Tourists” project which has been designed to attract more travellers from Asia’s number-one economy to Thailand.

The project has also been initiated to be a PR engine for Thailand’s tourist destinations popular among Chinese holidaymakers.

The TAT joined hands with allies within the tourism industry and operators of famous social online services in China to introduce this new initiative.
