Chinese travelers recently recognized Delta’s In-Flight Service as best in the industry at the 2016 China Travel Awards in Shanghai. China Travel Award winners are nominated on by readers of prominent Chinese travel magazine Travel+ and selected by industry experts, according to Delta.
“Delta has consistently invested in improving customer experience to be the most Chinese-friendly U.S. airline, so this award proves that our efforts are moving in the right direction,” said Wong Hong, President – Greater China. “We continue to build on this momentum to differentiate Delta from other U.S. airlines in the Chinese market.”
The airline has continually increased nonstop service between the U.S. and China since 2009, as well as incorporated local flavors into its in-flight experience, to better serve the market’s customers and growing demand. Delta offers Chinese meal selections and local language options for in-flight entertainment, and staffs every flight to and from China with Chinese-speaking flight attendants.

For the past 10 years, the list of China Travel Awards winners has served as a guide for travelers. Delta is the only U.S. carrier to win an award under the “airline” category.
